Single Implants

Single implants are the preferred method for replacing a single tooth. The titanium implant is typically paired with a porcelain crown that closely resembles the color of a natural tooth.

The Treatment Process

Implant treatment usually takes 3-6 months to complete. The first step is to meet with Dr. Maleki for an initial consultation. At this appointment, you will discuss your treatment goals, concerns and questions with him.

At the first treatment appointment, Dr. Maleki surgically implants a titanium prosthesis into your jawbone. A temporary crown is then placed to protect the implant site while your mouth heals.

Over the next several weeks, Dr. Maleki continues to monitor the implant to verify that it successfully fuses into the jawbone. Once satisfied with the progress, Dr. Maleki places a tooth-colored porcelain crown onto the top of the implant. The final result is a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions just like a natural tooth.
